In order to carry out all the projects that Kiwanis is involved with throughout
the year, each member is asked to join one or more committees.
| Antique Show Committee | This commitee does all of the planning for the annual antique show in June. | |
| Board of Directors | This is the governing body of the Keene, NH Kiwanis club. It is comprised of the six board members, and the club officers. | Jodi Forcier-Turner |
| Community Service | The Committee on Community Services should implement projects that primarily benefit children although special consideration can be given to projects on the arts, business affairs, citizenship, civic improvement, community beautification, conservation, health, international understanding, literacy, public affairs, safety, or help for senior citizens and disabled persons, and other acceptable projects. | Michael Haines, Susan Doyle |
| Fellowship | The Fellowship Committee works directly with the President Elect to increase the interaction between members in the most enjoyable way. They will suggest appropriate events for club members, such as membership dinners and picnics, holiday dinners, and other activities to sustain excitement and interest in our members. They would also create fun things to do to vary the weekly meetings such as “Name That Tune” games or “Name That Baby Photo” days. | Fundraising | The Committee on Fund-Raising is responsible for securing the funds necessary to meet the annual budgets requirements. | Membership | The Committee on Membership Growth and Education should strive to increase and retain membership according to the standards provided in the bylaws. The committee should consider all membership applications and submit its recommendations to the board of directors. | Public Relations | The Committee on Public Relations and Communications is responsible for helping to ensure that the public receives, through the media and other means, the objects, goals, programs, events, and achievements of the club. Club highlights should be communicated by electronic and paper means to the District Lt. Governor, local media, and to the NE Kiwanis, and other appropriate persons and organizations. | Speakers | The Committee on Speakers shall be responsible for arranging member’s three minute speeches and interesting speakers for the regularly scheduled club meetings, including occasional evening meetings. | Sponsored Youth Services | The Committee on Sponsored Youth shall devise ways and means to establish and support Kiwanis Kids clubs in elementary schools, Builders Clubs in junior high or middle school, Key Clubs in high schools, Circle K clubs in the universities and colleges and Aktion Clubs for adults with disabilities and should encourage and promote the activities of all Aktion Clubs, Kiwanis Kids, Builders Clubs, Key Clubs, and Circle K clubs sponsored by the club. | Donald Flibotte, Jane Beauchamp |
