Deb Ganley shared what's new at the Cheshire Children’s Museum since they entered their new space on Emerald Street earlier this year. Then she showed slides and talked about her recent journey/walk on 250 miles of the Camino trail between Porto Portugal ad Santiago Spain. She feels it has taught her the belief that one should do today what you look forward to doing and that it is good to learn to live in the moment. Her slides were wonderful and she kept the whole group engaged while she shared details of her travels.
Five members of the Kiwanis Club of Keene traveled to Greenfield, MA on October 17th for an Interclub meeting at the Kobe Restaurant. Greenfield club members shared news on their many upcoming events, including a Fall Festival, Community Meals, Trivia Night and Festival of Trees. Proceeds from all these events are given back to their community as charitable donations. They also presented new "Kiwanis Volunteer" t-shirts to their members, a visible reminder of what Kiwanis is all about! It was a great evening of fun and fellowship between neighboring clubs!
